Dale V. Slape, PartnerDale V. Slape, Partner

Mr. Slape has been in practice for more than 23 years. He is a founding partner in the law firm of Slape & Howard, Chartered, and has extensive emphasis and experience representing injured claimants in workers compensation cases and victims of motor vehicle collisions.  Mr. Slape is licensed in the State of Kansas and admitted to practice in the District Courts, Appellate Courts, and Administrative Courts of this State, and also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals, 10thth Circuit.  He is furthermore the founder and author of the APPEALS BOARD COMPUTER REGISTER, a publication indexing, summarizing, and circulating decisions of the Workers Compensation Appeals Board to attorneys representing claimants and employers throughout this State.

Mr. Howard has been in practice for more than 19 years and is founding partner in the law firm of Slape & Howard, Chartered, and has extensive experience representing claimants in workers compensation cases and social security disability claims. Additionally, he has devoted years of his practice to representing consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.  Mr. Howard is licensed in the State of Kansas and admitted to practice in the District Courts, Appellate Courts, and Administrative Courts of this state, and also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit.

Mr. Appling has been admitted to practice law for more than 39 years, all but three years in private practice. Prior to joining Slape and Howard, of Counsel, in 1997, Mr. Appling was an owner and partner in a local law firm with an emphasis in bankruptcy and workers compensation law.  He is licensed in the State of Kansas and admitted in practice in the District Courts, Appellate Courts, and Administrative Courts of this State, and also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, District of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit.
